June 5, 1952 — the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the USSR on the foundation of Ust-Kamenogorsk Pedagogical University. The Institution had three Faculties (Russian Language and Literature, Physics and Mathematics, Natural Science). 332 students studied and 30 lectures including 3 candidates, associate professors worked at the University. In 1953 was the first graduating group of specialists in teaching programme.
