Tleukazhi's main areas of research was dedicated to the history of Kazakhstan in 18th-19th centuries. Works such as "Rebellion of Syrdarya Kazakhs" (original «Восстание сырдарьинских казахов») and "Progressive meaning of accession of Kazakhs to Russia (original «Прогрессивное значение присоединения казахов к России») was written by him. He was born in East part Kazakhstan and graduated Kazakh Pedagogical Institute. From 1937 to 1941, worked as a Senior lecturer of All-Union Communist Agricultural School (Almaty). Also he was the Head of the People's Commissariat of the fishing industry of the Kazakh SSR. From 1944 to 1965, he was the Scientific secretary, Deputy director and Head of the Department of History, Archaeology and Ethnography of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR. From 1944 to 1965, he worked as the lecturer at Kazakh Pedagogical Institute.
