On September 8, 2014 the Ethno-Memorial Complex "Map of Kazakhstan "Atameken" will celebrate its 13th anniversary

The Ethno-Memorial Complex “Map of Kazakhstan “Atameken” was opened on September 8, 2001 by the initiative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. The mission of the “Atameken” is to preserve and enrich cultural heritage and history of our country.

According to the Press Office of the Complex, the round table “Kazagymnyn altyn uyasy — Atameken” will be held. Deputy Akim of Astana city Aida Balaeva, Head of the Cultural Department Bolat Mazhagulov, President of the ICOM Umitkhan Munalbayevna, Chairman of the Union of Writers Akim Tarazi, writer-dramatist Roza Mukanova, Deputies of the Majilis of the Parliament Galina Baimukhanova and Nurtai Sabilianov, as well as cultiral workers and quests of the city are among participants.

At the same day ethno-aul “Kazak uyi” will be opened; there the best masters of the Union of Artists will introduce their works on the theme “Kazagym — uly elim”.

The concert with various competitions will compete the event.
