In this year, the film studio "Kazakhfilm"
plans to restore and release movies of Shaken Aimanov on digital media as a
part of the program of solemn events devoted to the celebration of the 100th
anniversary of the filmmaker, reports inform.kz with reference to the official
website of the studio.
The solemn ceremonies will include the issuance of book, essay and monographs, as well as the album with the CD, on which the speeches of Aimanov are recorded, the creation of documentary on the life and work of the celebrant (director Bolat Nusipbekov), restoration of films and their release on digital media.
The exhibition of his films as well as the grand opening of the Museum of Kazakh cinema named after S. Aimanov will be held at the studio "Kazakhfilm" in September as a part of the anniversary 10th International Film Festival "Eurasia" under the auspices of the 100th anniversary of the legendary director.
