The Kazakh nation is not formed now, its history lasts for many years. The Sakas, Uisuns, Hunns and Turks lived on the Kazakh steppe. Our history is closely connected with them. Later Altyn Orda, after it Kazakh khanate separated from them. Our President Nursultan Nazarbayev said in Ulytau, that all facts are important for our people and we should tell it to our young people. I believe that the national idea of «Mangilik el» is that our state was founded 550 years ago. By virtue of our ancestors there is an eternal, developing and progressing country called Kazakhstan. The meaning of this idea includes the eternal nation, who takes the mutual understanding for the basis between the hundreds of ethnic groups. First of all, I want to congratulate all Kazakh people on the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate. It is one of the significant periods in Kazakh history. It is a great holiday. A historical event that happened in 1456 was driving force for the formation of the Kazakh Khanate. Kerey and Zhanibek fought against of Abilkhayr khan’s leadership and they led Kazakh tribes to move to the Kozybasy and it was a first step for formation of the Kazakh Khanate. The date our ancestors desired was in 1465. This celebration is of great importance for us. It is a heritage that will be passed for our younger generation. I hope that this event will not stay as an event that celebrated once. I believe, it will turn into an annual tradition.

The Kazakh Khanate formed as a lawful heir of Altyn Orda. Kerey and Zhanibek separated from Moghulistan and formed the basis of our state with 200 thousand people in Kozybasy. It is a great holiday for our people. During these 550 years, our people defeated Dzungars and sent them away from the historic stage. Mukhammed Khaidar Dulati wrote a chronicle «Tarikh-i Rashidi». It is a narrative of the fact how we formed our khanate and how many difficulties we passed on our way. It is a historical work and it is a valuable heritage. By virtue of this chronicle written by Mukhammed Khaidar Dulati, it showed that we formed the Kazakh Khanate in 1465-66 and we celebrate our 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate.

I heard this news last year and I was very happy for that. It was a very good answer for people in Russia who was mistaken by saying that Kazakh people have no history. I wanted to do something according to this occasion and I made a design for one T-shirt. I said, if it will have 550 likes, I will make 55 kinds of design till summer. But it had more than 1000 likes in one day. I made 55 kinds of design and showed it in my flashmob-exhibition. I call the exhibition «Shashu». I gave this name because I was working for half a year and made the design of 55 T-shirts and gave them away. I thought, if many people wear them in summer, they will promote the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate. This is how I made a contribution in this event.
