The event which takes place from June 21-24, is the fifth seminar organized by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan on extreme journalism "Military Discourse". The practical seminar "Military Discourse" is organized to train Kazakh journalists to work in the zone of armed conflicts and in extreme situations, as well as coverage of terrorist acts.
Within three days, experienced military instructors of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan will theoretically and practically teach journalists how to work in the epicenter of military operations, under extreme conditions, and how to prepare high-quality information material. This time, the seminar will work out practical actions of journalists in the course of military operations in urban conditions and at mass events and actions.
Such meetings are very useful. Because they allow us to comprehend the events happening around, provide an opportunity to analyze, in order to develop a correct response mechanism, including in the information sphere.
It should be noted that the practical seminar "Military Discourse" is a kind of one of the directions of journalism, which is conducted with the purpose of acquiring by the representatives of the mass media of certain special knowledge, skills in the collection and analysis of information, and also teaches to minimize the threats that arise when working in high-risk areas.
