Today, Kazakhstan — the polyethnic state, peace and unity of its people. The model of international and inter-confessional accord, suggested by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.Nazarbayev and realized through the activity of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, for 20 years showed its resilience, by evoking the interest of the world political community to Kazakhstan experience of the state building.
Nowadays, the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan was transferred to the most significant institutional body which participates in the formation of political stability and social accord in the country.
The purpose of the event conduct is the propaganda of Kazakhstan model of international and inter-confessional accord, new Kazakhstan patriotism, popularization on the documents of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan of historical and public meaning first noted in 2016 the holiday of the 1st of March initiated by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.Nazarbayev at the XXII session of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.
Historical-documental exhibition tells about tragic pages of the history of Kazakh people — the policy of violent collectivization, which led to hunger and migration of the part of population beyond the boundaries of the country, discloses the formation of the polyethnic compound of Kazakhstan, history of deportations, evacuation of people during war time, change of ethnic composition of the country during the reclamation of virgin and fallow lands. The period of the Independence of Kazakhstan was presented by the documents of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, national-cultural centers. The exhibition was filled with the documental collections and scientific materials published for the last years by the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In addition, the exposition of the pictures of the artists-masters of ethnonational art was represented.
In the work of the round table the members of the «Nur Otan» party, members of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, representatives of the national-cultural centers, state archive institutions, scientists and public activists, teachers and students of higher educational institutions of Astana participated.
