In 2006 Astana hosted the presentation of the "Names of victims аlive. 1979-1989″ remembrance book dedicated to participants in the Afghan war. The history of the war in Afghanistan lasted 10 years and cost the lives of thousands of young people was presented to readers. The book contains full list of the names of killed and missing soldiers.
