In 1832, Akmolinsk external district and Akmolinsk prikaz (administrative, judicial, territorial, and executive office) were established
On August 22, 1832 Akmolinsk external district and Akmolinsk prikaz were established. Akmolinsk fortification which had been founded two years before in the Karaotkel mountain area on the bank of the Ishim river became the center of the district.
