Dilmukhamedov Yeltok Dilimbetovich (1903-1989)
In the first
years of Soviet power Y.D. Dilmukhamedov took an active part in the fight against Basmachis in Central Asia;
Graduated from the Central Asian Communistic University named after V.I. Lenin
(1930);
Graduated from the Institute of Marxism-Leninism
in Tashkent (1938);
Head of the Chair of Marxism-Leninism Principles at the Karakalpak State Pedagogical Institute (1940);
Junior Research Fellow at the Department of Modern History of
Kazakhstan, Institute of History, Archaeology and Ethnography of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR (1947);
Senior Research Fellow, Department of Pre-Revolutionary History of
Kazakhstan (1954);
Scientific consultant of the department (1977-1982).
He
participated in the
preparation of 2-volume "History
of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic", a member
of the All-Union scientific session on
the history of the working class
in Rostov-on-Don (1963), All-Union Conference on the History of the First World War in Moscow (1964).
He was awarded with the medals "For Valiant Labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945" and
"For Valiant Labor. In
Commemoration of the 100-th anniversary of Lenin's birth”.
