Mass political repressions - one of the darkest chapters in the history of Kazakhstan
In fact, the Soviet Government turned our republic into a jail with the largest labour camps — Karlag, Steplag And ALZHIR. Current official data confirms that 5.5 million people were exiled to Kazakhstan labour during the years of repressions. But there also are some other facts.
