A five-volume edition of "Kazakh oneri" will be preseted in Astana

 The exhibition of works of masters of fine arts of Kazakhstan will be held in Astana as a part of celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan, reports inform.kz with reference to the press service of JSC "Samruk-Kazyna".

  Opening of the exhibition will mark the presentation of the five-volume edition of "Kazakh oneri" ("Art of Kazakhstan"), which was published with the financial support of "Samruk-Kazyna".

  The publication includes a rich illustrative material, which presents the best works of fine arts of Kazakhstan, from ancient times to the modern period. In a single space of succession, the book will present the monuments of ancient culture of the Sakas, the Turks, the traditional Kazakh craft and contemporary creativity until the last works of the Kazakh artists.

  Five illustrated albums represent a wide range, in the time series, of outstanding iconic monuments of fine arts of Kazakhstan, noted in the national holding.

  The compilers of publication are a group of authors, led by renowned scientists and art historians. The articles in the book are published in three languages: Kazakh, Russian and English.

  The presentation of edition will be held in the Palace of Peace and Accord on February 25.
