Presentation of a book of the Russian publicist Nikolai Zenkovich "About the Great Life" dedicated to Nursultan Nazarbayev took place in Astana

The author gave his book a very sonorous title "About the great life". It is the first in the history of independent Kazakhstan, written specifically for the younger generation. And it is intended for the audience of 12+, which is also a ready-made manual for high school students and vocational school students. The author of the book is the honored worker of culture of the Russian Federation, historian, writer, publicist Nikolai Zenkovich. He is the author of over 30 books on prominent state and public figures, political leaders and extraordinary personalities who have changed the course of history.

The pages of the book contain not only the biography of the head of state, but also the history of the formation of independent Kazakhstan. The circulation of the book is 2 thousand in the Kazakh language and 2 thousand - in Russian.

As the author notes, interest in the personality of Nursultan Nazarbayev appeared after the December events of 1986, when the hero of the book showed "his determination, will, wisdom, ability to manage the situation" at this turning point for the country. As the writer specified, sources for writing the book were living testimonies of eyewitnesses.

"The younger generation is no worse and no better than ours and other Soviet generations, it's different. Since it is different, it needs to tell how everything is different here, about the life and work of the head of state," the writer explained.

This is the second book of a publicist about Nursultan Nazarbayev. The first book on the activities of the President "The name that became an epoch" was released in Moscow to mark the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence.

"I tried to write not boringly, but in a living language. I can say that I wrote this book all my life, since 1986, when I first came to Almaty during the events known to you. It is necessary to be born at a crucial time, when something that seemed unshakable and eternal was changing. He "saddled" the events and led them, and this requires personal qualities, courage, knowledge, experience and most importantly - it is to work for the sake of the Motherland. His activity consists of three components - the homeland, the people and the President," said Nikolai Zenkovich.

When asked by journalists what the author would say, if he had the opportunity to personally hand the book to the head of state, he replied: "To all young men of Kazakhstan be like Nazarbayev!"

Kulyash Shamshidinova, Chairman of the Board of “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools”: Today the school sets a task - not just objective knowledge, the task of integrating the subject is put - the content of the subject and the understanding of the surrounding world in its full context. From this position this book is very interesting because this book describes the life and events of a contemporary, a man who lives with them together and creates a story. The book tells in simple words about the difficult stages of life, childhood, when important qualities were laid, the period of growing up, the time of becoming.

The book informs the youth that everything that was created by our President is a great work: at the time when there was an economic crisis, it was very difficult, and the time was different, and it was difficult to achieve something. This is what the current school textbooks lacked, what young people lack to interest.

The book is divided into two parts. The first part is childhood. The second part is about becoming, the way up and very interesting how he overcame difficulties. The author tells how many countries traveled, and not only the CIS states, and always met only a positive assessment of the activities of the President of Kazakhstan. Absolute admiration. And not only by the scale of the individual, but also by the deeds through which the country emerged from chaos as a winner and continues to amaze with its successes today. And now it is important to tell what it cost, about a hard work behind all this.

This book is a ready-made manual for high school students, and readers have already appreciated it. Aldan Moldabekuly, a pupil of the 10th grade:

"This book greatly impressed me, because it is a book about our president Nursultan Nazarbayev. This book describes the period when he was 17 years old and how he overcame his difficulties. I hope this book will be an incentive for me."
