UNIVERSITIES ON THE SAME SITE

"Education of XXI century: Theory, Practice, Prospects" under this title was held the republican scientific-practical conference in Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Astana city. At the event, shared their experiences teachers, doctoral students and undergraduates of the departments of history and economy of the Kazakh Humanitarian Law University, Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov, Nazarbayev University.

The main attention was paid to the preservation of historical heritage, promotion of patriotism among the younger generation, to increase interest in the study of humanities, instilling respect for the history and heritage of the country.

According to the initiators of the event, one of the main objectives of this meeting is to work to strengthen cooperation between the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Astana and higher education institutions.

In plenary part, professors and teachers raised issues of research and ideas on the following topics: "Message 2017 - read between the lines", "New features of patriotic education", "Historic setting, as a method of studying the artifacts", "Alash, and the very first books", "Application technology "Case study" in practice", "Current issues in the study of the history of Kazakhstan".

Speakers presented reports containing a lot of pressing issues and its solutions. In particular, scientists shared the results of their research, which were held within the framework of the study of the humanities, such as the social sciences, history of Kazakhstan, world history and economics.

Then conference participants worked in seven sections, called "Kazakhstan in the days of the revolution", "Han Zhangir: exploiter or educator", "Tribes of the Turks: yesterday, today and in the future", "Burning Heart of patriot", in English - "Proper Use of resources as one of the ways of development of Kazakhstan», «Economic features of modern Kazakhstan", etc. 

Meeting with students, university professors pointed out that human capital development is directly related to education. This means - the revision of programs, qualitative approaches, learning languages.

"Young people must learn and know English, not for marks, and to develop, to be in demand in the labor market" - they said. - We know what our country achieved for 25 years. There is no war, the economy is growing. We need to carry out the Strategy "Kazakhstan-2050" and enter the top thirty most developed countries in the world".

In addition to the lessons a round table, defense projects in history, a poster session and debates were organized.

Discussing the Address of the President to people of Kazakhstan, the participants were unanimous in their opinion that the proposed reforms of the Head of State would contribute to the further strengthening of the political system of the country.
