Semipalatinsk Teacher’s Seminary is one of the first special institutions of secondary education in Kazakhstan, a 7-year educational institution with three primary and one preparatory classes. 24 children from Semipalatinsk, Kerekus, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Karkaralinsk and Akmola districts were admitted. Later the Seminary began enrolling of students from Tobyl, Barnaul and Zhetysu. Beliy A. was the first Director of the Seminary.
