According to the resolution of the Russian General Executive Committee dated July 23, 1930 district division, based on enlarged districts of 1929 with partial establishment of new districts, was introduced on the territory of Kazakhstan. Yesil district including Proletarskiy and a part of Atbasarckiy district of Akmola region with the center in Yesil village, was one of the new districts.
