Yeraly, Yermukhamedali, Khan of the Little Zhuz, son of Abulkhair Khan was born approximately in 1720. Died in 1794. From an early age, he participated in Khan councils and administrative works. He was the head of Abulkhair Khan’s embassy in the Russian Empire, which was welcomed by Anna Ioannovna. Yeraly expressing the will of his father Abulkhair Khan asked Russian Empress to support Kazakhs of the Little Zhuz. On September 4, 1791 after the restoration of the rule of Khans with the support of the Orenburg Governor-General A.A. Peutling, according to the Order of the Empress he was elected Khan of the Little Zhuz. This provoked new wasve of uprising. By the summer of 1792 it embraced the whole of the Zhuz.
