On September 15, 2005 President Nursultan Nazarbayev issued a decree on the signing, on behalf of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the International Convention for the Suppression of Acts of Nuclear Terrorism. This decision was made in order to ensure stability and the implementation of measures to prevent, combat and eliminate international terrorism and to strengthen international cooperation between States.
