Located 70 km to the east from Almaty and it is 1,20 minutes drive. Fish farm offers to taste trout fish and visitors are also offered to enjoy horse riding.
In Ili-Alatau National Park, there is a beautiful look of nature, Turgen Gorge. In the Gorge there are thermal springs, trout farm, waterfalls and plenty of forests. Turgen Gorge abounds in coniferous and mixed forests, alpine and sub-alpine meadows, lakes and springs, medicinal plants and berries. In ancient times, caravans from Europe to China and India passed through.
Turgen Gorge is famous for its waterfalls amounting to about seven. Bear’s Waterfall in the picturesque place among pendent rocks and green in the first hand attracts with its 30 m height. In addition, Bozgul Waterfall is well known for its powerful water flow, which breached a whole tunnel in a rock.
Duration is 5-6 hours. We also give a break at an "Ostrich Farm".
