For the first time this proposal was announced by the Head of our State on March 29, 1994 at the meeting with faculty and students of the Lomonosov Moscow State University during the first official visit of the President of Kazakhstan to the RF. According to N. Nazarbayev’s idea, the Eurasian Union must become an association of equal in rights independent states, which realizes the national and public interests of each member and uses all joint potential.
