Serkebayev Almas Yermekovich is composer, honored Artist of the Kazakh SSR, the member of the board of the Composers' Union of Kazakhstan (1975), laureate of the State Prize of the Kazakh SSR for the music to the feature film "Shokan Ualikhanov" (1986). Composer of the opera "Tomiris", ballets "Aksak Kula", "My brother, Mowgli", "Tlep and Sarykyz"; symphonic music, music for chamber ensembles and solo instruments, music for dramatic productions, film music and number of songs. Career: 1970 — Сoncertmaster of Culture House of Almaty repair plant №2; 1975 — Concertmaster and teacher of composition class of Almaty Musical College; 1975 — Trainee researcher; 1977— Trainee assistant of composition faculty of Alma-Ata state Conservatory named after Kurmangazy; 1982 — Inspector Composers' Union of Kazakhstan; Since 1985 is on the creative work.
