Ablainkit - a fortress-priory

The Monument is founded in 1654., is situated in 15 km south-eastward from Nikitinka village Ulanski region in the valley Ablaketka river, safe zone - 200 m., ruined to basis, archeological and restore works were not conducted. The Whole area belongs to the state farm "Nikitinskiy". 
The priory became known in science since 1720, we can boldly say non of the other monument of the edge was so broad popular in scientific circles. Information about Ablainkit can be found in "Articles list" of F.Baize (1675-1678). 
We find the most full description in the script of F. Millera- participant of the First academic expedition 
"the rocks through which walls are is organized, themselves replaces the walls, proved the stone for building of walls, surround the lake, that provides the inhabitant with water; hereupon circumference looks like pentagon. 
The Brick wall covered by composition from whitish lime, tower on 1 1/2 old russian unit of lengths. The floor covered with bricks. Two tiny round melting stove are placed in two corners. Except of this there was nothing else in the room neither windows nor roofs. But if the roof traces are seen at some places, it seems as it was burnt.
The Second building built in the same highland, also consists of one tetragonal room and more smart, crowded with idols, drawings and holy characters. This was sanctuary itself... Entry is from the first building or canopies; it is close with folding door, and made so that when one opens the door he can easily see the sanctuary. On each side of the casements there are 6 windows. The walls are made from burnt bricks and wooden logs, which gradually turn into roof. Tetragonal pedestal stands in the middle, covered with different color ornaments; once there stood the idol, expressing a man with naked legs, denuded by head. It was found divided into ensemble small piece, may be several years ago he was safe. The Damaged idol was subjected to either ignorance or inappropriate zeal soldier from nearby fortress, often visiting these place for the sake of hunts.
Sixteen other idols of such type, but of smaller size were found on smaller stand, but regrettably, only the stands escaped injury. Walls from the base to the roof are decorated with different scenes, figures on east and west wall differ in their size, form. On east wall two figures express the man and a woman; on west wall - feminine figures. All of them are drown upright. The Male figures particularly attract attention by ensemble of heads and legs. One of two figures on west wall has 4 heads and 24 hands, the other - 2 heads and 8 hands. The First, besides, has his right leg on hair of the other person. The third male figure in opposite side, also has 2 heads and 4 hands; two hands embrace a woman, the other head and rest two hands are in upright position. Finally, on north wall a variety of sitting women is drawn, with their legs folded to bosom; hands and soles of the legs are nude; some of them has natural color of body, the others have purple, dirty, greenish color. In spite of different positions of the hands, in general they has resemblance. The figures on most of the pictures have their heads, encircled with light rays or so named nimbus, (Romans also surrounded their saints by halo).
In the same room, a closet of significant size stood near the north wall , with many sliding box where holy tangun and Mongolian manuscripts were kept. 
So, there was three buildings on the space surrounded by wall:
1. the temple with annex before him was placed on high artificial foundation with brick banisters. The top of the walls and roof of this annex were wooden and burned after t
he fortresses siege. The window were found in woodwork wall. Temple Itself is built from white brick, had a wooden top and roof from tile, covered with green and blue glaze. The Floor in temple is bricks.
2. The Second building is made from bricks, with wooden first floors, also destroyed by fire, as judged by planning it was dwelling. 
3. Finally, low buildings found on west from temple which was obviously of economic purpose.
