The 11th Eurasian Scientific Forum will be held in Astana

On October 10 the 11th Eurasian Scientific Forum “The Kazakh State and Eurasian Space: History and Modern Situation” will be held in Astana, L.N. Gumilyov ENU

The three heads of states, which are the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, signed the Treaty on the establishment of the EAU (Eurasian Economic Union). However, against the backdrop of the occurred political events a number of questions arose; they are: how effective this agreement is? How will this document affect the income generation of citizens of each country? The Treaty should be ratified in January 2015 but is it in force now?

On October 10, 2014 at the 11th Eurasian Scientific Forum "The Kazakh State and Eurasian Space: History and Modern Situation", which will be held at the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Astana, the Republic of Kazakhstan), Azat Peruashev, Burkitbay Ayagan, Gadilbek Shalakhmetov, Zhandarbek Malibekov, Khankeldy Abzhanov, Chinese scientist Dyuysenali Abdilashimuly, representative of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Kazakhstan Dmitriy Zorin, Galym Baynazarov, Professor of the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies (Tashkent, the Republic of Uzbekistan) Natalya Karimova, the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University scholars Tursun Zhurtbay, Sultankhan Akkuly and many others will discuss the burning issues exciting everybody.

The press service of the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University reports that the scientific community of the Eurasian region will introduce scientific-analytical works made with the aim to reconstruct the history of statehood, culture and economic development of Kazakhstan and other Eurasian nations as well as their place in common cultural-civilizational space. The works also contain analysis of contemporary ethnopolitical, geopolitical and socio-cultural situation.

The work of the workshop "The Kazakh Statehood and Alash" will be dedicated to the scientific activity of Tursun Zhurtbay, Professor of the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, and the Director of the "Otyrar Kitapkhanasy" Scientific Center.

The spirit of tolerance, inter-ethnic harmony and civil unity in our country is generating strong and growing scientific and socio and political interest in the most countries of the world. This actualizes the task to provide full-scale, objective and comprehensive understanding of the history of the Kazakh Khanates, other state entities, their role and influence on the history of a whole Eurasian space.
