Session of the commission for the protection of historical and cultural monuments under the chairmanship of deputy akim of the region Serik Mukanov was held in the regional administration, reports BNews.kz.

Before the event started, participants got familiarized with the exhibition of archaeological finds that was organized by the LLP «Kazarheologiya."

The director of the LLP «Kazarheologiya Juman Smailov, represent in his report the results of archaeological research in Raiymbeksk and Iliysk areas.

According to him, the three year of archaeological work led to the formation of a single layer of Kazakh history and culture from the second millennium BC to the new era. On particles were collected the facts about the life of Kazakh people from the Bronze Age to the reign of the Turks. The parts of the household items, horse harness as well as of daggers, swords and jewelry were found in the encampments of ancient people.

In their speeches, the organizers briefed the participants on the peculiarities of breeding and the pre-introduction inclusion of the historical and cultural monuments to the State register.

At the conclusion, the commission considered the question on the inclusion of special historical monuments to the international registers. The ancient settlements of Koilyk, Talhiz and Karamergen will be placed under the protection of UNESCO.

Currently, about 1250 of archaeological sites in the area were placed under protection and included into the State registry. Moreover, about 598 archaeological monuments will be included into this category after the completion of all of the necessary legal procedures.
