This book is dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Abylaikhan, it was published by "Kazakh Encyclopedia" publishing house and issued under the program "The Edition of significant types of social literature" of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The main feature of this encyclopedia is a study of the era of the eighteenth century, in which lived Abylay Khan, the pedigree of his ancestors. The encyclopedia contains materials about the descendants of Abylay, about the brave wars and Kazakh philosophers. The works of all scientists, writers and researchers who used to write about Abylay Khan was covered in this encyclopedia. In addition, the article "Abylay" that was written by Shokan Walikhanov is presented in three languages, says the chief editor of "Kazakh Encyclopedia» Bauirzhan Zhakyp.

According to his words, the complete collection of literatures on the life of Abylay Khan, in various languages was created as a part of the encyclopedia that begins with the article of the President of Kazakhstan, entitled "The embodiment of Abylay’s dream”.Compiled by the head of the research group, Kobetay Nurpeisov.
