On February 25, at 11.00 am, the Faculty of Journalism (room number 230) will hold an international theoretical and practical conference "Media Education and Cyber-socialization", dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the UNESCO Chair Professor, international journalism and public relations, doctor of historical sciences, a well-known public figure L. Ahmetova.

The conference will cover the following topics:

1. The media literacy and topical issues of journalism education in Kazakhstan

2. Education, science and production: the path of integration

3. Development of Media Literacy in the system of secondary and vocational education at all levels

4. Media Education and Society

5. NGO contribution to media education

6. Social and cultural diversity of the media: the preservation of national identity
