The event was attended by the prominent public figures of Saudi Arabia, the representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Riyadh, state and public organizations, enterprises and the media.

During his opening speech, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Batyrshaev introduced the biography of the First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and talked about the achievements of independent Kazakhstan under his leadership, in the international arena and in the social and economic sphere.

In particular, it was noted that the balanced foreign policy of Nursultan Nazarbayev allowed Kazakhstan to earn the high prestige in the world arena. Among the major international initiatives of the Head of State, that has earned the respect and appreciation of the international community, could be mentioned the rejection of the Soviet nuclear legacy, the leadership in the disarmament process, the launch of the Internet communication platform G-Global and the convening of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, etc.

The souvenirs, books and video materials in Arabic and English languages were spread among the participants of the solemn event.
