78 years ago, according to the Constitution of the Kazakh SSR, adopted March 26, 1937, the Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR was elected for the first time. The Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR was the highest organ of state power, he was competent to accept to review and resolve any issue within the jurisdiction of the Kazakh SSR. Supreme Council ceased its activities in connection with the adoption of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan Decree of 6 March 1995 on the unconstitutionality of the elections to the Supreme Council, held on 7 March 1994 and the subsequent dissolution followed by the Supreme Council. Constitution adopted on 30 August 1995 in a national referendum, was established by the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
