In 1917 the first issue of the "News of the Regional Central Committee, leader of the Inner Horde" Soviet newspaper was published
The newspaper was published in two languages and renamed several times. Since 1963 the regional newspaper was calle "Oral Oniri" ("Ural Region") and "Priuralye" ("The Urals").
