The rally devoted to the 70th anniversary of the death of the Hero of the Soviet Union Aliya Moldagulova was held in Aktobe.
January 14th marks the 70th anniversary of the death of the Hero of the Soviet Union Aliya Moldagulova. A memorable meeting devoted to this date was held at the memorial complex in Aktobe.

The event was organized by the Museum named after A. Moldagulova as well as by the department of culture and the social organization "Kos Shinar," reports inform.kz.

The relatives of A. Moldagulova as well as the students, veterans and the members of the public were gathered at the monument. A triple salvo was performed during the solemn ceremony. The participants spoke about the life and heroic deed of Alia. There were about 70 women from Aktobe at the memorial rally, who were named in honor of the heroic women, who sacrificed her life in the name of Great Victory. The rally ended with the laying of flowers.

According to the head of the public association "Kos Shinar" Galymzhan Bayderbes, the main event dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the death of A. Moldagulova will take place tomorrow at the Hobdinsk area in the village of Alia. The commemorative as will also be given.

The sniper of the 54 Infantry Brigade, A.Moldagulova, died in 1944 in the battle for the village Kazachiha in Pskov area of Russia. The 19-year-old girl received the rank of the Hero of the Soviet Union's posthumously.
