The "grandfather-historian" lives in the Zhambyl region.
Preserve the memory of compatriots, who died in World War II, this is one of the main goal of Bekkuly Aliuly.

The villagers nicknamed the pensioner from the Ryskulov district of Zhambyl region “grandfather-historian”. He literally raises the names of Kazakh soldiers from the depths of nothingness, reports 24.kz

In his archives, there are many names of those who laid their head while protecting the Brest Fortress, but were missed from the official lists. In his 70 years, Bekkuly Aliuly

In its 70 years, Bekkuly Aliuly still full of strength and energy. In a small archive he knows by heart every word and every picture . Internal discipline and hard work - he says - helped explore hundreds of documents and open the veil of the many mysteries of history. And most importantly - learn the names of fellow who defended the Brest Fortress . After reviewing all the documents gathered the necessary evidence , I published a big job . And at a rally in 1985 in Vladivostok in the nomination " For heroic way of ancestors" took first place and received the award.
