The solemn ceremony of inauguration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev

The third presidential elections were held in Kazakhstan in December 2005. The incumbent President Nursultan Nazarbayev won the elections with a large margin.The solemn ceremony of inauguration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev was held in Akorda (Astana) in accordance with the the Constitution of 11 January 2006. The politicians, presidents and dignitaries attended the ceremony.

Adopted the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the liberalization of foreign trade activities”.

 In 1995, the following steps have been made towards the liberalization of foreign trade in the Republic of Kazakhstan: all export quotas and licenses were eliminated, except for a short list of goods that was compiled for reasons of national and personal safety and health (9 items for export and 11 items for import).

  The monopoly on foreign trade in strategic goods was cancelled, the mandatory sale of foreign currency earnings of exporters was cancelled as well, moreover, the barter trade was banned and the exchange and auction trading were expanded.

  In January 1995, Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus signed an agreement on the Customs Union. Later Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan joined them. The main purpose of the creating of such union is the removal of tariff barriers, creating a single economic space for the free movement of goods, capital, people and services. In 1995, the rates of export and import duties were reduced, however the list of items that were placed under the procedure of taxation, was still included12 titles.

  The presidential decree having the force of law "On the liberalization of foreign economic activity" was adopted on January 11, 1995.

The song "Menin Kazakstanym» was introduced as the National Anthem of the country for the first time.

On January 11, 2006, the song "Menin Kazakstanym» was introduced as the National Anthem of the country during the solemn ceremony of inauguration of Nursultan Nazarbayev, under the roof of the “Akorda” residence. Nursultan Nazarbayev is a co-author of the text of the current national anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In addition, the rules of listening the anthem were changed. So now during performance of the anthem at official ceremonies, the audience should stand up and exert the right hand to the left side of the chest.

January 11 can be called, without exaggeration, one of the most “polite” dates in a year, today is the International Thank You Day.We all realize the importance of good manners, their necessity in everyday life, but most of the votes we express, as if by chance, are without thinking about their meaning. However, the kind words have their own magical power, thus with their help people could give the pleasure to each other, express the attention and convey the positive emotions, it is something without which our life would be scant and gloomy. Indeed, many tourist guides and manuals provide the information that: the word "thank you", even if it said on another language, increases the speed, quality of service and help to establish a peaceful and pleasant stay.
