Zharylgapberdy Zhymabayuly was born in Bayanaul district of Pavlodar region. Zharylgapberdy was the follower of creative traditions of Birzhan-sal Kozhakulov. He was familiar with Arabic grammar, Eastern poetry, also sang zhyrs and kyssa. He was known as a great hunter and wrestler-paluan. Zharylgapberdy promoted songs of the top Kazakh singers and dombra players. The songs of love poetry such as “Shybartay”, “Shama”, “Karagoz” and “Ardak” were written by him. A. Zataevich praised song “Arda”, calling it godsend in the musical art. A. Zhubanov wrote following: “Zharylgapberdy was the great singer of Sary-Arka and the largest representative of the national art of singing”.

The Day of Firefighter has been celebrating annually on April 17 in Kazakhstan. The date of this holiday was established in honor of the decree “On the organization state ways against fire”, signed in April 17, 1918 in the Soviet Union. Former Soviet republics, including Kazakhstan, celebrate this holiday.
